Dr. Barbara Dankwa-Egli

Barbara Dankwa-Egli works as teaching coordinator in the Group for SusTec to support the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability course and to facilitate other teaching activities. She joined SusTec in August 2023.

In her previous position, as scientific collaborator at the Download Swiss Study Foundation, Barbara coordinated and co-designed interdisciplinary educational programs. Aside, she completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sustainable Development at the Download Centre for Development and Environment, University of Bern. Before that, she conducted a PhD in the Group of Plant Biochemistry at ETH Zurich by studying the interaction of two beta-amylase derived transcription factors with other signalling pathways. Barbara received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in biology from ETH Zurich.
