Lea Reimann

Lea is joining SusTec to write her master’s thesis on assessing the economic performance of a plastic recycling pathways to produce high-quality plastic recyclates for electronics applications.

She is a master’s student in Management, Technology, and Economics and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from ETH Zurich. She has a strong interest in systems understanding and sustainability transitions. Over the past semester, she had the chance to investigate chemical concerns in circular economy strategies as a student research assistant.

Besides this, she has worked over two years for the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE). This experience has provided her with valuable insights into the Swiss electricity sector.

Lea loves being outside in nature - whether cycling and camping, jogging along the Aare River, or exploring the hills of Jura Park, where she grew up.
