Maximilian Olmos van Velden works as a project manager at the Sustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab) within the Group of Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich. Currently, his work centers around decarbonization, food waste, and supply chain sustainability. During his previous internship at sus.lab, he primarily worked on CDR standard regulation and European CCS network development.
Maximilian holds an MSc in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) with a focus on Project Management and Sustainability. Previously, he pursued a dual bachelor’s degree in World Politics and International Justice at Leiden University College the Hague.
Prior to joining sus.lab, he gained practical experience in climate and energy policy at the International Energy Agency as part of the Latin American regional desk.
In his free time, Maximilian enjoys swimming, hiking, traveling, and learning new recipes.
