Rita Ghilardi

Rita joined the Sustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab) within the Group of Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich in April 2025 as an Intern.

Her work focuses on Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) projects and she actively contributes to the organization of the Carbon Removal Innovation Booster.

Rita holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Management and Technology from E4S (EPFL, IMD, and UNIL) and a bachelor’s degree in Digital Management from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

Before joining sus.lab, she worked as a consulting trainee at Zühlke in the sustainability transformation division, where she helped companies transition toward greener practices. As part of this experience, she wrote her thesis on corporate readiness for the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), analyzing newly collected data to assess adoption challenges.
