Sveinbjörn Finnsson

Sveinbjörn stayed at Prof. Hoffmann's Group for Sustainability and Technology during the year 2015. In his Master's thesis, he focused on the influence of regulatory and financial incentive schemes on the viability of distributed energy storage for end-consumers.

Sveinbjörn holds Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland. He is currently enrolled in the Master’s degree program in Energy Science and Technology at ETH Zurich.

Prior to joining SusTec, Sveinbjörn worked as an intern in the Marketing and Business Development Division at Landsvirkjun. He also did an internship at Energy Fundamentals focusing on market research and the analysis of European electricity markets. His studies at ETH are supported by a grant from the Energy Research Fund by Landsvirkjun as well as a grant from the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce.
