Arthur Borecki

Arthur is a master’s student of Management, Technology, and Economics at ETH Zurich. He is interested in exploring different forces driving and hindering sustainability transformations in industries and exploring pathways to a more circular economy. In his master’s thesis at SusTec, he will focus on how plastic waste streams are used in the cement industry.

Before his master’s, Arthur did a bachelor in Technology Management at the University of Stuttgart where he focused on production engineering and knowledge management. As he worked throughout his studies in many positions in politics, research, industry and strategy consulting, he is very excited to holistically explore the forces driving the cement industry and to analyse how large industry players can produce more sustainably.

In his free time, Arthur loves to go up and down in the mountains – whether he is skiing, hiking, climbing, or cycling doesn’t matter. He also loves extensive discussions, so don’t shy away from reaching out to him!
