Hareesh Singanallur Poovalagan

Hareesh works at the Sustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab) within the Group of Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zürich as a Project Assistant. He primarily focuses on decarbonization projects, specifically related to carbon dioxide removal (CDR), and supports the Circular Building Industry (CBI) Innovation Booster.

Hareesh holds a Master’s degree in Energy Science and Technology from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University. Before joining sus.lab he worked in multiple organizations, most recently with the Business Development team at Unbound Potential. He also co-founded two startups in the sustainability sector.

In his free time, Hareesh enjoys spending time with friends, watching football, boxing, traveling, and skiing.
