SusTec welcomes Niklas Stolz as a PhD Student!

Niklas joined SusTec as a PhD candidate in August 2023, researching corporate transitions towards net zero. He is especially interested in the carbon market’s role in the fast decarbonization of the economy and the integration of carbon removal in carbon market frameworks. He is mainly doing empirical research using data science techniques to build novel datasets.

In his free time, Niklas enjoys going for runs or bike rides around Zurich and is a passionate but, unfortunately, moderately talented surfer. Further, he enjoys exploring Zurich’s restaurant scene and enjoys summer in Zurich with friends. In winter, he enjoys going to Italy for long weekends and waiting for spring.
