SusTec welcomes Dr. Beatrice Bais as a senior researcher!
Beatrice joined the group in April 2025 as a senior researcher at SusTec.
Beatrice is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Chair of Logistics Management and the Sustainability and Technology Group at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics. In 2024, she was already a visiting Ph.D. student at the Chair of Logistics Management. She received her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. She also holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering from the University of Udine, Italy. During her Master studies, Beatrice spent several months at the University of Rhode Island, USA, for her Master thesis project, and at the University of Ottawa, Canada, for courses.
Her research focuses on ESG practices and performance management and evaluation, using qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She has presented her work at European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) conferences in Helsinki (2019) and Leuven (2023).
