The Department of Management and Economics at ETH aims to provide an excellent learning, teaching and research environment. Tillmann Lang, PhD student at MTEC's Group for Sustainability and Technology shares his thoughts on how it is to pursue a doctoral degree at the Department.
Tillmann Lang started his PhD at ETH in summer 2012. His research focusses on the role of policy and firm strategy in the solar photovoltaic industry. He holds a Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science and studied at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg (Germany) and Universidad de Chile (Santiago, Chile). Before Tillmann joined the Group for Sustainability and Technology, he spent two years as an associate with McKinsey & Company. Visit his complete profile here.
