8th Annual ETH PhD-Academy: Energy Innovation Insights from Around the Globe
A small group of researchers from ten different countries spent five exciting days in the Swiss Alps for SusTec's annual scientific seminar on Sustainability and Technology.
Guided by the title "Energy Innovation and Climate Change" 14 PhD students and four faculty members gathered in Appenzell to discuss technology, firm and institutional aspects of the promotion of a low-carbon future. The five days were packed with student presentations and in-depth discussions on research methods, theories and ways to structure an academic career. Besides, the participants had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Swiss landscape (hiking), villages (Appenzell) and culture (e.g., food).
