SusTec congratulates Tillmann Lang on the successful completion and recent defense of his doctoral thesis, titled: "Transitioning Clean Energy Technologies into Independence from Policy Support – Lessons from the Solar Photovoltaic Industry". The title refers to the thesis' overall research question as to how clean energy technologies, whose deployment was initially supported by policy, can transition into independence from policy support. Tillmann's research not only provides theoretical insights, but draws important practical conclusions for policy makers and firms on how to best promote such a transition. We wish Tillmann all the best for his future career!
