The Foundation of German Business awards scholarship to SusTec’s PhD candidate Marianne
Marianne receives the full doctoral scholarship for her ongoing PhD on “Organizational Strategies for the Circular Economy”.
The Foundation of German Business (Download Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft - sdw) is one of the largest foundations of Germany offering merit-based scholarships for high-performing students and doctoral candidates.
The scholarship program includes both a financial stipend as well as an access to an extensive network and trainings and is granted for 2 years.
Marianne joined Prof. Volker Hoffmann's Group for Sustainability and Technology in July 2018 as a PhD candidate on Circular Economy. Her work will focus especially on the individual firm level, analyzing organizational capabilities and enablers for successful Circular Economy strategies.
