McGill launches Sustainability Transitions initiative
To strengthen interdisciplinary work on sustainability topics, McGill (Montreal) has launched Sustainability Transitions as the fourth focal theme of their MSSI. At the symposium, Jochen Markard presented latest research and shared experiences with the ongoing energy transitions.

The Download McGill Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI) brings together researchers from the natural and social sciences to tackle grand sustainability challenges. Sustainability Transitions was lauched at a symposium as the fourth thematic area of the MSSI, next to landscapes, materials and urban environments. In a first project, researchers will look at the role of small and medium enterprises in sustainability transitions.
