SusTec welcomes Gian Luca Gehwolf as new MSc Student
Gian Luca joined SusTec in November 2021 to write his master thesis with Paula Thimet and Dr. Georgios Mavromatidis where a market analysis for battery storage systems in decarbonized electricity systems is performed.
He is currently enrolled in the Science, Technology and Policy master's program at ETH, specializing in energy and mobility aspects. Additionally, he holds a BSc and MSc in Chemistry from ETH, where he was particularly interested in research on materials for energy storage systems . During his studies, he worked as a student researcher at the Centre for Energy Policy and Economic in the MTEC Department. Before starting his master thesis, Gian Luca completed an internship at EBP, where he is continuing to work as a part-time consultant.
In his spare time, Gian Luca likes to play football and tennis in summer. In winter he enjoys alpine and cross-country skiing. Furthermore, he is a passionate supporter of Liverpool FC.
