The first Circular Building UnConference 2022 was a great success!

On the 27th of October the Circular Building UnConference took place at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich and welcomed more than 120 people to exchange about the future of the building industry, and how we can all contribute.

How can we make the Swiss construction industry more circular together? On the 27th of October 2022, the Circular Building UnConference took place at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich and welcomed more than 120 pioneers from business, research, and the public sector to answer this question. The program included inspiring speeches, with topics ranging from the policy status on a national level, to learning from the textile industry, and included pitches from innovative solutions funded by the Download CBI Booster. Christof Knoeri (senior researcher at SusTec) rounded up the day with a call for radical innovation in the building industry, inspiring us all to act now and to create a truly circular building industry.

The Unconference was organized by Switzerland Innovation Park Central as part of the Circular Building Industry Innovation Booster, together with Download sus.lab, Download Empa, Download dss+, Download Circular Hub, Download HSLU, Download SIA and Download Swiss Recycling.

The UnConference is the annual highlight of the Download CBI Booster. It aims to be an open innovation plattform for circular building solutions through project pitches, best practices, keynote speeches, discussion panels, and matchmaking. We are convinced that by bringing together innovation teams, researchers, strong companies, and important topic leaders, we can boost the circular economy with innovative solutions.

We hope to see you there next year!

CBI Booster is a program powered by Download Innosuisse.
