Theresa Aigner (Fraunhofer IZM) and David Pfeffer presented at the E-Waste World Conference in Frankfurt from June 11-12. The conference brought together global industry, policy makers, and researchers working on the environmental, economic, and political challenges associated with e-waste. While metals often take center stage in e-waste discussions due to their economic value, Theresa and David spotlighted a frequently overlooked resource: e-waste plastics. Their presentation examined the environmental impacts of recycled PP versus virgin PP and highlighted the economic implications and trade-offs of different recycling routes. See external page herefor more information about the conference.
