Centralized or decentralized?
A new paper by Marie Byskov Lindberg, Jochen Markard and Allan Dahl Andersen analyses the policy mix and actor positions in EU energy policy.
The paper introduces two dimensions to analyze energy transition pathways: (de-)centralization and the ambition to support renewables. It shows how EU energy policies and preferences of key industry actors score on both dimensions.
